Even though dating someone from a different country can be frustrating at times, there are plenty of benefits of dating a Russian woman.
Eastern European and Russian ladies are known for their femininity, strong family values and their good looks.
While there is a myth that all Slavic women are beautiful, most women from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus take good care of themselves. Eastern European women want to look beautiful and they often say that their power is in their beauty and in their weakness. Russian women rarely get fat and if they gain some extra pounds, they will do everything to get rid of them or to hide them.
Most Russian and Ukrainian women like to wear make up everyday and like to dress up. They like to emphasize their femininity by the way they dress and the way they look.
You will rarely see a Russian woman wearing oversized tee shirt and unflattering jeans. If you ever go to Kiev or Moscow you will be amazed how well the girls dress and how good they look. A guy I know came back from his trip to Moscow and asked me if all girls who live there work as models.
Because I am a Russian girl myself, it flatters me when I hear people say that all Russian girls are beautiful. However, from my observation, it is not true. Many American women are just as beautiful, but they are not as obsessed about their looks as Russian women are.
When I was in college in Russia, most girls wore make-up, stiletto heels, mini skirts or fashionable pants. It was and still is a norm over there. When I came to the U.S. and took college classes here, I saw that 99% of my female classmates wore hoodies, sweats and flipflops. American women value comfort more than their looks and Russian women are usually ready to sacrifice comfort just to look pretty.
